JOB SUMMARY

Connect Church’s Worship and Creative Pastor will provide
organizational leadership and oversight for all areas of worship,
creative arts, audiovisual, lighting, and production. This pastor
will carry the heart and mission of Connect Church, leading the
worship department through setlists, schedules, rehearsals, and
team development. They will oversee the order of service—its
content and production—ensuring that every element reflects
the vision of the church. In addition, the Worship and Creative
Pastor will serve as a member of the teaching team when
needed, maintain equipment and technology, and shepherd
both staff and volunteers to create excellent, Spirit-filled
environments. Working closely with the Worship Coordinator
and the Creative Media and Marketing Strategist, this role will
advance the church’s mission through powerful worship and
innovative creative expression.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Mature and seasoned leader — confident yet humble.

• Passionate about worship and the presence of God.
• Spirit-led with a heart of humility.
• Five or more years of experience leading worship and building teams.
• Strong musical ability with a deep understanding of worship leadership.

• Experienced in equipping and empowering volunteers and staff.
• Ability to lead with both confidence and teachability.
• Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES

WORSHIP LEADERSHIP

• Plan weekly setlists in alignment with series themes and Spirit led direction.
• Schedule teams and leaders via Planning Center.
• Lead rehearsals and shape a worship culture rooted in encounter, presence, and prayer.
• Write devotionals or coordinate teaching moments for Sunday huddles.
• Coach worship leaders spiritually, vocally, and in pastoral authority.
• Guard theological integrity in lyrics and worship flow.

CREATIVE & PRODUCTION OVERSIGHT

• Organize and vision cast info for series artwork, sermon bumpers, and in-service creative elements (backgrounds, videos, slides, etc.).
• Oversee ProPresenter and Sunday content prep.
• Manage livestream and in-room experience (visuals, lights, sound, tech).
• Lead and train livestream and in-room experience teams.
• Coordinate with team leads for service execution.
• Plan for seasonal service projects and services (Easter, Christmas, Encounter Nights, etc.).
• Track inventory of gear and keep organized.
• Knowledge of all tech gear used at CC. Able to troubleshoot effectively.

EXECUTIVE & STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

• Member of the Executive Team: contribute to churchwide strategy and spiritual direction at our weekly meeting.
• Participate in the Teaching Team: preach on rotation and attend our monthly sermon content planning meeting and organizer.
• Attend and participate in our annual calendar planning for series, events, and department needs.
• Own and manage the budget for Worship & Creative: track expenses, subscriptions, and purchases.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on multi-ministry alignment and spiritual culture-shaping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES

TECHNICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT

• Maintain and troubleshoot church’s IT infrastructure (especially Ubiquiti networking gear).
• Administer Google Workspace: manage user accounts, permissions, and drive organization.
• Administer In Motion Hosting: manage user accounts, permissions, and drive organization (old ccc-connection emails).
• Manage Squarespace: oversee website domains, content edits, and navigation.
• Steward department credit card and track all subscriptions (Multitracks, Canva, Adobe, SundaySocial, ProContent, CCLI, etc.).
• Manage SubSplash: oversee website and app for specialized services.
• Administer Planning Center and Multitracks accounts: oversee accounts, keep updated as needed for team resources.
• Maintain and organize digital file storage, backups, and shared resources for team use.
• Buy, repair, and provide computer support for staff and ministry areas.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & CULTURE

• Identify and develop new leaders in worship, production, creative, and prayer areas.
• Build a strong culture of pastoral care, discipleship, and healthy team rhythms.
• Oversee onboarding process for new volunteers — spiritual fit, skill fit, and training.
• Lead team nights, prayer gatherings, and leadership huddles.
• Shepherd the hearts of volunteers throughout the week.
