1 Corinthians 3:5-6 says “we plant and God makes it grow”. It’s that simple. God has called us to plant and water, so we plant and water. And as we grow tired, bored, and are tempted to do “sexy church”, we stop and remember our calling is to keep it simple.
And when we steward every new guest that comes into our churches God sees us, He sees our commitment, He sees how aggressive we are to this calling. And He says, “I can trust them with more”. And then.. He sends more.
