THE FREELIFE CHURCH STORY
FreeLife is an interdenominational church reaching people of all ages,
races, economic levels, and religious backgrounds. Our founding pastors,
Richie and Leann Mullis, have been in ministry for over 20 years. Their
passion is to bring restoration, healing, and hope to the Dallas area and
beyond. Their desire is to spend the rest of their lives serving God by
serving people. With a heart to pastor the local church, they are committed
to leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
FreeLife Church began in November 2004 with just five people meeting at
the La Quinta Inn in Mesquite, Texas. As the church grew, FLC held its first
full service at Claybon Elementary on Easter of 2005. Three years later,
God provided an incredible opportunity to purchase their first building in a
prime location off Highway 80 in Forney, TX.
FreeLife has experienced many “God moments” in a short period of time.
Yet the vision of FLC has remained the same: Changed Lives. It is the
people of FreeLife—empowered and used by God—who have built this
ministry into what it is today. And it will be the people of God who carry the
vision forward, bringing restoration, healing, and hope to the world.
Joining a church means different things to different people. Some come
searching for God and community in seasons of uncertainty, others
seeking deeper purpose or connection to their family and cultural identity.
At FreeLife, we believe that the Church, at its core, is about discovering
love and beauty through God—and participating in His work in the world.

FORNEY, TX
Just 20 minutes east of Dallas, Texas, sits one of the fastest-growing cities in
America. This thriving region offers the best of both worlds: the energy and
opportunity of a major metro area, combined with the space, community, and
affordability that growing families and forward-thinking leaders are looking for.
With top-rated schools, new neighborhoods, and access to everything from outdoor
recreation to big-city culture, it’s easy to see why so many are planting roots here.
Right in the center of this momentum is FreeLife Church—a life-giving, Bibleteaching, diverse, and Jesus-loving community with a vision to reach the next
generation. What started 20 years ago with no people, no money, and no guarantees
has become a story of God doing the impossible, again and again. Just two years
ago, FreeLife opened a 43,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, and today, we’re
already expanding—because the next generation is showing up in force.
We believe revival is rising in this region—and God is assembling a world-class
NextGen dream team to reach this generation now, so they won’t need rescuing
later. For leaders with vision, passion, and faith to believe for the impossible, this is
the place—and this is the moment.
