April was born and raised in Valley, AL. Her parents owned a restaurant where she started working and even managing the business as a teenager. She grew up in church and has been singing since she was a little girl. She began leading worship for the youth group when she was 14. She and her husband met in church when they were only 12 and got married in 2001 at the age of 19. She was an Account Manager for a Conferencing Company and then transitioned to be a Pharmacy Technician all the while serving in their local church. Together, they have three boys and she has been a stay-at-home Mom, homeschool teacher, and worked from home as an entrepreneur for 15 years. In 2018, God told them to move to Greenville, SC where they became a part of Redemption Church. April volunteered and then came on staff as a Worship Leader and then as an interim Worship Administrator. After the church transitioned, she was offered a contractor position as a worship leader/vocal coach for Free Chapel at their Spartanburg, SC campus where she currently resides. She has served in the church her whole life in many capacities. She is very passionate about leading people into the presence of God, loves being with her husband and 3 boys, being in nature, and shopping! It excites her to be able to be a tool in helping people fulfill their calling!
