Cornerstone Church Jobs

Pastor Mark Lehmann has served as the lead pastor of Cornerstone Church in Maryland for twenty-eight years. His desire has always been to build a church that looks and acts like Heaven. From humble beginnings with around 100 people, the Lord has blessed the church in incredible ways, forming a diverse and outward-focused congregation that now represents more than 75 nations.

Today, approximately 3,000 people consider Cornerstone their spiritual home. Because of God’s faithfulness, Cornerstone is becoming the body of believers He always intended it to be. The phrase that guides everything they do—”One church can change the world”—has been embraced by the entire Cornerstone family.

This Kingdom-centered vision has brought people together from across the region to send and support more than 300 missionaries in 110 nations. Whether through local initiatives, campus ministry, anti-trafficking programs, or international feeding programs, Cornerstone Church is deeply committed to giving away at least 35% of its income each year to serve others.

Of course, none of this would be possible without a strong foundation of prayer. Every year begins with three weeks of prayer and fasting, setting the spiritual tone for the months ahead. For more than twenty-five years, Saturday night prayer has been a sacred time of worship and intercession for the needs of the world. The growth and impact of this ministry would simply not be possible without a deep commitment to prayer.

In the midst of a divided culture, Cornerstone Church stays focused on being Christ-centered, prayer-focused, and mission-driven. As more local families search for hope and answers, the church believes that God is preparing a new season of impact and growth.

The heart of Cornerstone is to equip its community to be an “Authentic community, lifting up Jesus, growing in Him, and touching the world,” through weekend experiences, discipleship and growth groups, service teams, and both local and global outreach.
