JOB SUMMARY

The Have Life Worship Pastor will lead worship with the worship team. They must be able to sing confidently, create song lists, teach vocal parts, and effectively communicate musical direction to the band. They will also be responsible for conducting rehearsals and overseeing all aspects related to worship leadership. Additionally, this role includes oversight of the media department. While we currently work with volunteers, this person must be able to recruit and develop a team to keep the media department innovative and up to date. The Worship Pastor will evaluate the entire worship experience, identify issues, and implement effective solutions. We are looking for someone who not only understands their role—but lives it too.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead worship for Sunday and Wednesday services, including all elements that contribute to a successful presentation (e.g., song selection, scheduling, vocal part assignments, etc.).
• Lead and inspire a team of musicians and vocalists, fostering creativity, musical excellence, and spiritual depth through worship.
• Lead the media department and maintain a network of creatives to fulfill key roles such as graphic designers, sound technicians, video editors, camera operators, livestream engineers, and other production support.
• Participate in shaping the overall service experience to ensure it is excellent and creatively cutting-edge.
• Contribute to the larger leadership direction of the church.
• Possess an understanding of a wide range of worship genres—from gospel to contemporary—with the ability to create cohesive and spirit-led worship experiences.
