Church Unleashed is a thriving, multi-campus church with one clear mission: to inspire hope, unleash potential, and change lives. Founded in 2008 by Pastors Todd and Mary Bishop, what began as a small group of dreamers has grown into a powerful movement that is reshaping the spiritual landscape of Long Island—with thriving campuses in Commack and Hicksville, New York. From its earliest days, Church Unleashed has carried a bold, contagious belief that church should be alive, relevant, and life-changing. Each weekend, both campuses come alive with passionate worship, creative storytelling, and practical, faith-filled teaching that connects with real life. The message is simple but transformative: God’s love is real, His grace is limitless, and every person has been created on purpose and for purpose.

In 2008, Pastors Todd and Mary stepped out in faith to plant a church that would reach people who felt far from God and disconnected from religion. Their desire was to create a space that felt more like a family than a formality—a place filled with energy, creativity, and authenticity. From rented school auditoriums to permanent campuses, God has honored that faith every step of the way, growing Church Unleashed into a community that now impacts thousands across Long Island.

Today, Church Unleashed continues its mission through two dynamic campuses—Commack and Hicksville—each uniquely designed to meet the needs of its local community while sharing one unified culture and heartbeat. JOB SUMMARY

Church Unleashed’s Worship Pastor will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for worship teams across multiple campuses. This pastor will cultivate a unified worship culture by raising up leaders, developing teams, and creating dynamic environments where people encounter the presence of God. The Worship Pastor will ensure that every campus reflects the same heart, excellence, and spirit of worship that defines Church Unleashed. Working closely with the Lead Pastor and campus teams, they will implement and execute the overall vision for worship, empowering others to lead with passion, authenticity, and unity across all locations.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Strong vocal and/or instrumental ability with a heart for Spirit-led worship.
• Minimum of five years of experience leading worship in a growing church.
• Leadership and team-building chops — not just a doer, but a multiplier.
• Organized and proactive planner who can think weeks ahead and execute Sunday with precision.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with in-ear monitors, tracks, click, Ableton, etc.
• Able to speak or preach effectively, or demonstrates the willingness and teachability to grow in this area.
• Teachable, flexible, and on fire — carries the heart of the house and the DNA of Church Unleashed.
• Experience in video/audio production or songwriting is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee all weekend worship experiences across our locations — planning, rehearsing, and executing with excellence.
• Lead and oversee all night services and special worship experiences across our locations — planning, rehearsing, and executing with excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and disciple worship leaders, vocalists, and musicians to raise up future worshippers and leaders.
• Collaborate with our creative, production, and pastoral teams to align worship with the message, flow, and energy of each service.
• Build and steward a worship culture that is passionate, prophetic, and participatory — not performance-based.
• Oversee worship team rotations, setlists, rehearsals, and scheduling through platforms like Planning Center.
• Pastor your team — spiritually, emotionally, and relationally — through regular connection and leadership development.
