Overview

Victory City Church is hiring a collaborative, high energy Worship Pastor that is skilled at building and developing strong team culture. This role will be asked to build team depth at every level by discipling, developing, and staying personally connected to their team leads. The worship pastor must have the ability and proficiency to schedule, communicate and execute service orders and set lists to drive the vision and mission of Victory City Church.

THE VICTORY CITY STORY

Eric Morris is the Lead Pastor at Victory City Church. He
transitioned into this role in 2021 after serving as
executive pastor for a short time. He took over the church
during quarantine. When Victory City reopened 100 people
were in attendance. Since then the church has experienced
incredible growth. In 2022 Victory City averaged 730 people
attending service. At the beginning of 2023 the average is 850.
Victory City church is growing! The staff has grown from two
full-time staff members in 2021 to a team of eight in 2023. God
is moving. Prior to 2021 Victory City moved into a new building
in Pflugerville, TX after meeting together for 20 plus years in a
location closer to downtown Austin. Victory City is uniquely
positioned to take the Gospel farther and wider than ever before!

JOB SUMMARY

Victory City Church is hiring a collaborative, high energy Worship
Pastor that is skilled at building and developing strong team culture.
This role will be asked to build team depth at every level by
discipling, developing, and staying personally connected to their
team leads. The worship pastor must have the ability and proficiency
to schedule, communicate and execute service orders and set lists to
drive the vision and mission of Victory City Church.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule worship team and lead weekly rehearsals
• Plan and execute weekend set lists
• Communicate with the team regularly
• Lead a staff level production director
• Attend all Sunday Worship Experiences
• Attend all staff meetings throughout the week
• Work collaboratively with all staff including Lead Pastor
