THE SOCIAL DALLAS STORY

You’re joining us at an incredible moment, but to truly appreciate where we are
now, it’s always essential to reflect on where it all began. Social Dallas started in the
Lumen Room as Social Girls back in 2018. It later evolved into Social Night at
Granada Theater in 2019, ultimately leading to the official launch of Social Dallas as
a church on Easter Sunday in April 2021. We are a Mobile Church, led by Pastors
Robert and Taylor Madu alongside their three kids, located in the heart of Dallas.
Currently, we don’t have a permanent building, but we believe in God’s plan for a
special place we can call our own one day! Our headquarters is in the heart of the
Cedars District, known as SDHQ. Throughout our journey, we’ve gathered at some
of the most remarkable venues all across the city of Dallas. We’ve held services at
Gilley’s, The Toyota Music Factory, The Winspear Opera House, Strauss Square, and
The Echo Lounge just to name a few. Our purpose is to love the people of Dallas
and be a place of hope, restoration, and life for anyone who steps into our space.
We wholeheartedly believe that God loves Dallas, He is changing our city, and that
revival is breaking out in our schools, workplaces, and homes!

SOCIAL DALLAS HOUSE RULES

  1. House of Prayer – We believe prayer changes everything.
“They all joined together constantly in prayer..” Acts 1:14
  2. House of Presence – We believe the church should be a place where
    people experience God’s presence.
“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and
filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be
tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them
were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the
    Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:2-4
  3. House for People – We believe the church should be a place where people
learn how the Bible applies to their daily lives.
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are
all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

CORE VALUES

S – Serve with Passion: We are servants FIRST, from the parking lot to the stage
everything we do, we do it with passion. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we have

treasures. We are constantly looking for opportunities to GO FIRST in our giving.
God has abundantly given to us, it is our Honor to give back to Him.
C – Create with Excellence: We are ALL creatives! We believe excellence is
ALWAYS worth the extra effort. We show up on time, fully engaged, and
prepared. We can’t be careless. We do this in JESUS’ NAME, so we do it with
excellence.
I – Influence with Hope: We are the influences we’ve been waiting for! With Jesus
as our hope and heaven as our home, we’re always asking: what’s the best that
could happen?
A – Attitude of Joy: We are aware that our attitudes set the atmosphere.
Regardless of how we feel, joy is our choice!
